The Howler is a support unit of the Shroud.
Background[]
Like all Shroud units, the Howler does not utilize an observable language system and makes little in the way of sound. However, it is very effective when hunting down the opposition as part of a larger pack. It is this resemblance to the species “canis lupus” (wolf) of Earth that gave this unit its shrewd, predatory name.
Overview[]
The Howler is most effective when supporting allies from a distance. Its indirect fire allows it to attack enemies on cliffs and mountains.
Tips[]
- The Howler is the only tier-1 unit to deal area-of-effect damage.
- Use ground targeting to aim the Howler's attack toward where you anticipate enemies are going—not where they are at the time.
- Howlers excel at countering smaller tier-1 units, but lose potency against larger enemies.
